The Thanksgiving Salad

Somewhere along the way, Thanksgiving turned into a starchy, sugary, fatty and calorie-laden feeding frenzy. And while we love to indulge here and there, we find that the effect that a meal like that has on our body leaves us feeling sluggish, bloated and often a little remorseful. So we wanted to add a little bit of freshness to this wonderful meal by sharing some of our favorite salads and soups, which are so full of Fall flavor and vibrant color, you might not miss the marshmallow-covered sweet potato casserole!

Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day with naturally alkaline evamor water, to keep your appetite in check and help offset any other holiday libations! We wish you and your family a healthy and happy Thanksgiving holiday!

Appetizers:

Our favorite is Crudités and Dip РWash and slice carrots, celery, broccoli crowns, sweet peppers, jicama, zucchini and cauliflower. Then pair with Hummus (we love hummus for its protein and fiber content), Guacamole (who can say no to an avocado?) or a ranch dip made with Greek yogurt (hello, protein boost!)

Soups:

Thai Carrot & Sweet Potato Soup – Add a little hint of the exotic to your traditionally American feast.
