I Tested Evamor With pH Strips and It Is Not 8.8

September 20, 2010

Evamor Alkaline Water has a low ionic strength so normal pH test paper or strips will not work on Evamor water.

Also, urine test strips will not work as well since the water will not react properly with the paper (there is no buffer). pH testing strips and papers are very specific.

For best accuracy, you should use a calibrated pH meter.

If you choose to use pH test strips, you should use low ionic strength pH paper or test strips such as ones offered from Micro Essential Labs. (see link for strips http://ow.ly/9bBy8)

The water drawn from our aquifer for finished product is pH tested hourly during production and we have 3 in-line pH meters continuously monitoring the pH. We also send our product off quarterly to a 3rd party lab for confirmation.
